The ABS Bed Sensor is designed to go under the mattress, approximately mid body. Please follow the instructions included with the sensor, and on the step-by-step installation on the App.
Call buttons are generally used next to a bed, on a table next to the most commonly used chair, or on the counter next to the toilet.
The bed sensor is designed to be used as a one-person sensor. It will not pick up multiple people in the bed. If you are monitoring multiple people in one bed, you will need a bed sensor for each person.
All of our sensors are designed to have a 2 year battery life.
AIP Monitoring Service FAQ:
The AIP Monitoring service provides a system to track the activities of daily living, along with trending data for Bio Sensors, and the ability to add alerts based on events. The system also has an optional camera system for added information.
An internet connection is not required in the residence being monitored for the basic system. However, an internet connection is needed for viewing the portal. An internet connection in the residence is recommended for the optional camera system to keep cost down.
YES, Our system is designed to be installed with little effort. There are complete instructions included with the system. If you are unable to do the install, your distributor will assist you in finding an installer.
There is an Add Device button in the setting section of the portal.
You will need to login at: Portal.aipmonitoring.com
There is an optional Battery Backup for the hub that will keep you connected to the network in case of a power failure.
